Anten-Gräfsnäs Vintage Railroad – AGJ – is a 12 km long (and mostly 891 mm, or 3 Swedish feet, wide) living museum run as a non-profit corporation.
The Museum is run by association members who use their leisure time to create an environment for people today to experience yesterday’s technology and way of life.
The train departs from Anten (10 km NW of Alingsås) where the station has been renovated in 1930s style.
First stop, Kvarnabo! In Kvarnabo you can climb off the train to watch the “water horse” refill the water tank on the engine. While the tank is being filled, we will tell you more about the railroad. |
